All Paws on Deck- Paw Patrol 3rd Birthday
Our not-so-little Samuel just turned three, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with a Paw Patrol themed birthday party. Actually, it was his idea as he is now at a stage in life in which he’s carrying quite a few opinions - #threenager! If your ever-growing tiny person is also a true and blue Paw Patrol fan, you’ll love these ideas for decorations, snacks and more.
Invitations: Birthday Party is “On a Roll!”
We kicked things off with themed invitations that announced, “All Paws on Deck!” (does it get better for a Paw Patrol pool party?). You can easily find templates online or design your own using your child’s favorite Paw Patrol characters. We used Punchbowl electronic invites for the first time for this party since the platform makes it incredibly easy to keep track of RSVP’s and in this busy stage of life with a newborn and toddler, “easy” is best.
Decorations: Adventure Bay at the Pool
Since our little guy loves to swim and his birthday happens to fall at the peak of summer heat, we decided (with his input of course) that a pool party would be both fun and appropriate for his age group . We had a little area reserved at the public pool near our home that was made into our own Adventure Bay. We had balloons in classic Paw Patrol colors: red, blue, yellow, orange and green as well as a few extra fun balloons complete with all the characters. We had a large cardboard cutout of Chase, Marshall, Rubble and Skye, which i purchased on Amazon, at the entrance of the party pad.
Snack Time: Paw-some Treats
For snacks and food we kept it simple and used much of the treats to further elevate the theme. I purchased dog bowls on Facebook Marketplace although Amazon sells the same ones. These were perfect for serving all the treats and the parents got a kick out of the added decor.
Paw Patrol Fruit Snacks
Paw Patrol Graham Crackers
Goldfish
Individual Bags of chips
Applesauce
Pasta Salad
Pizza
Paw Patrol Cupcakes: These were purchase from our local King Soopers, they provided the Paw Patrol rings on the cupcakes. We realized after the party that for 3 year old’s these really were the star of the show! Who doesn’t want a ring with their favorite character to accompany an abundantly iced cupcake?
Paw Patrol Cake: The cake was also purchased from King Soopers and Samuel’s custom birthday sign from Etsy.
Favors: Take-Home Treats
As a thank you for coming, each guest got a “Pup Pack” filled with Paw Patrol mini figurines, bubbles, a bouncy ball and Paw Patrol fruit snacks. You don’t have to spend very much money to produce a really cute goody bag that kids will enjoy.
Wrapping Up - Lessons Learned
Samuels’ 3rd birthday party was a day full of smiles, laughter, and adventure, just like every episode of Paw Patrol. If your are planning a third birthday party for your Paw Patrol fan, I hope these ideas help you create a PAW-some celebration! Whatever your child is into, whether it’s our favorite pup Chase, who’s on the case, or any other TV or movie character, taking a little extra time to bring that theme to life from the invitation to the decorations and even down to the goody bags, doesn’t take as much effort as you might think (Etsy, Amazon, and other platforms have really simplified things). And, those little extra touches make the experience that much more special for your little person who is more than worth it when it comes to celebrating their annual milestone.
